Transparent Math
The game shows you every number where you need it — so this codex doesn't have to.
A common frustration in 4X games is opaque numbers — a building "feels" stronger but the math is buried. Echoes Beyond takes the opposite stance: every bonus your empire earns is spelled out in the game itself, in the tooltip of the thing it affects, at the moment you decide.
Where the numbers live
- Every building card shows its exact before/after output ahead of an upgrade.
- Every settled orbit lists its bonuses — zone, body and specialty — by name, with its current value.
- Every research node states precisely what it grants before you commit.
- Build and research prompts preview the after-upgrade numbers side by side with today's.

Because the game does the arithmetic for you, this codex doesn't need to. These pages tell you what each system is, why it matters and how the pieces fit — the exact numbers are waiting in the tooltips, always current, never out of date.
